Great idea to use a page of sheet music as the "map" to be pieced together by students! I look forward to using that in my classroom. Another excellent classroom application is teaching your class fiddle tunes and have half of the dance while the other half plays. Fun and perfect for post-concert teaching days!
Your reflections on Civil War and the early 20th Century were terrific! So glad those eras and the activities we shared were valuable to you.
